The Pesticides & Toxic Chemicals Control Board (PTCCB)

PTCCB of Antigua and Barbuda was established to regulate the importation, distribution, sale, and use of pesticides and toxic chemicals within the country. Its formation reflects Antigua’s commitment to protecting public health, agricultural interests, and the environment from the harmful effects of chemical substances.

How the Pesticides & Toxic Chemicals Control Board came into being

How We Started PTCCB

 The Pesticides Control Act, Cap. 325 was passed in 1973, establishing the Pesticides Control Board to address emerging concerns specifically as it relates to pesticides.
